Experience Required:
- 1–2 years of personal injury experience
- Prior experience negotiating bodily injury claims preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and case management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle pre-litigation settlement negotiations from demand through resolution
- Communicate directly with insurance adjusters to negotiate bodily injury claims
- Evaluate case value by reviewing liability, medical treatment, and damages
- Draft and send demand packages with supporting documentation
- Consistently follow up with insurance carriers regarding demand status and offers
- Strategically negotiate to maximize settlements while maintaining professionalism
- Maintain detailed documentation of all negotiations, offers, and communications
- Provide attorneys with case updates, settlement recommendations, and file status reports
- Work closely with case managers, medical records, and demands teams to ensure files are fully developed
- Identify cases that may need to be escalated to litigation
